Also it's featured in Mindhunter if anyone else is a fan of that show, which was brilliant bc it was as we see Holden start to be concerned with his own sanity/questioning his beliefs after meeting all those serial killers. "I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You" to me is the perfect second song for that album too, that is a song I can show to just about anyone and they'll feel the groove, and the guitar solo in that is just a perfect demonstration of feel based, less-is-more style of soloing that I really subscribe to. The strings, the pain in the singers voice, ugh, it's amazing.

I get welled up every time I hear "Don't Let it Show", I think that's lyrically one of their strongest tracks and really shows Parson's production skills when the full weight of the song hits on the last chorus. I absolutely love TAPP - I think iRobot is a really remarkable title track in terms of how it later influenced what is now modern electronic-jam music (STS9, String Cheese, Pretty Lights, shit, Daft Punk). Two of the most prolific albums of all time, engineered by a guy who, to your point, never really had his solo project take off commercially. Granted I'm a relatively newer listener (I'm 24 and have been listening to prog for about 10 years), but I was absolutely floored to learn that Alan Parsons was an engineer on Abbey Road AND Dark Side of the Moon.
